Pink Panther

Happy Monday guys!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend….I spent it working on a necklace, finishing up a sequin skirt (that I can’t wait to show you), and making some more headway with that handbag I mentioned. *enter squeels of delight*

As for this outfit…the dress I’m wearing is one of my absolute fave going out dresses.   I recently wore it on a booking, and it was such a hit that I decided to track it down on ebay and managed to snag it in two more colors even though it was from at least 3 years ago (gotta love ebay).  You know what I always say, if you find something that really works for you….get a couple — you won’t regret it! Have a beautiful rest of week. Talk soon

Louis. Leather. Leopard.

Happy Monday guys! This weekend I worked on a commercial and also spent some time creating my own handbag — a project I’ve been brainstorming for at least a year now. I can’t wait to share it with you all.  But speaking of handbags…I thought this outfit was the perfect time to pull out one of my all time thrifting faves (also seen here) — this Louis Vuitton Le Sac Plat bag in Epi Leather was something I picked up for less than $1.

Oh, and I’m happy to debut these leopard print ballet flats — not that I needed another pair of leopard print calf hair shoes (see others here, here, and here) — but I stalked these babies the entire summer because I refused to buy them for the full retail price of $118. I had originally spotted them at $78, but had failed to buy them when I under estimated length of sale around Memorial Day.  So, not one to forgo a deal, while perusing the Labor Day sales I came across them for $68 — FINALLY! I immediately jumped on them, and even bought a duplicate pair — something I had never done before. But tell me what you think….were they worth the wait?

All Black and Blue

It’s really starting to hit me that summer is coming to an end….and I’m doing all I can to enjoy these last few days, all while feverishly getting work done too :). I’m not the only one, am I? LOL!  Well…before the nice weather is no more, I wanted to throw some more thrifted looks into the mix of my DIY’s to get back to my first love.  This secondhand dress is good for brunch with friends, or taking a quick coffee meeting — it’s really light weight and multi-functional.  Tell me what you think.

Thanks for reading!
