An Affordable “slice” of New York

Posted on 04 June 2011 by frugal-nomics

Location: 25th and 6th Ave

Okay…I’m almost too ashamed to admit the number of times I’ve approached the corner of 25th and 6th with my purse propped up on some fire hydrant, scraping the contents of my bag for what I hope to add up to be a dollar.  I’m an actress paying for a conservatory….don’t judge me :)  With several locations across the city and a line that replenishes itself out the doors hourly, 2 BROTHERS PIZZA serves up the hunger fix I need before heading to my next appointment.  I’m in good company…and it looks like the $1 slice phenomenon is spreading like the plague across the city (well….maybe plague was the wrong choice of words). But you get the point. The plain slice is $1, $1.50 with soda, and a more hearty slice with some fixin’s is $1.75…..not bad, not bad at all.
